In December of 2023, our team embarked on an unforgettable journey to Martinez de la Torre and Cuitlahuac, two picturesque towns nestled in the heart of Veracruz, Mexico.

Our mission? To immerse ourselves in the rich culture, history, and agricultural heritage of the region, and to forge meaningful connections with the passionate growers of Persian limes.

As we traversed the lush landscapes of Martinez de la Torre, we were captivated by the breathtaking beauty that surrounded us. Known as the "City of the Persian Lime," Martinez de la Torre boasts a perfect climate and fertile soil ideal for cultivating this citrus gem.

From sprawling orchards to quaint family farms, the sight of verdant lime trees stretching as far as the eye could see was truly a sight to behold. Our journey continued to Cuitlahuac, a charming town steeped in tradition and agricultural excellence.

Here, amidst rolling hills and meandering rivers, we had the privilege of meeting with local growers who have dedicated their lives to nurturing and cultivating the finest Persian limes. Their passion for their craft was palpable as they shared their knowledge, insights, and time-honored techniques for producing premium-quality limes that grace tables around the world.
